I just wanna wish everyone good luck with the SOTS:K Climb. You all better come back safe and nobody better fall, or else....

Stay safe, stay warm (which is easier said than done) and don't slip. Thanks for taking a stand against something and actually doing something to help!

Oloni: Good luck Lupe we're all routing for you...when you come back can we do Lunch?

Hannah: Wishing you all the best Lupe! We're behind you every step you take. Good luck!

Yay: Thanks for proving that there are actually people out there who give more than 2 cents about the world. You're an inspiration to people who believe that it's possible to make the world a better place. Good luck Lupe! You got this!

Riva: Lu, throughout times that have become about materialism and superficiality, you as an emcee, have provided us an outlet to discuss the social needs of such a world.

You've been scaling this mountain of an industry for a long time, hence why there is no fear in my heart as you take your journey.

Mount Kilimanjaro is just a stepping stone to the vast mission you've started in hip hop and society. Changing the world. Good luck Lu!

Sean: Good luck to the whole crew! Lupe, make sure you stay safe and kick that mountain's ass!

Here's an advice: Don't trip, don't fall, just run up and roar!!!... One more thing, could you try to get Isabel Lucas' digits for me, please?...thanks!

June: Great luck to Lupe, and all others involved with the Summit on the Summit project. And thank you, Kenna, for being so persistent in giving back.

Like you, I’m fortunate to live in the United States, but I have strong ties to my family in East Africa. When I visit Sudan, I see how much I’ve taken our most precious resource for granted.

Waterborne disease is rampant, each gallon is counted, and storage conditions are mediocre. For many people, mothers and children fighting malnutrition and communities with poisoned water supplies, finding clean water is the difference between survival and death.

As a global health student, I have so much respect for this project. Although we cannot solve the water crisis with one mountain climb, I realize the importance of raising awareness. If just one fan has learned more, then the mission has already been accomplished.

I encourage anyone reading this to get EDUCATED! Research! Google! Whatever you do, do your part.

Read about the bottled water industry and the industrial exploitation of developing nations; misuse of water resources and lack of regulation; environmental degradation; desalination; sickness and fatality due to malaria, diarrhea, malnutrition, and drowning; clean water protests in Iraq, Bhopal, India, Honduras, Nigeria, and South Africa; the monopolization of Nestle and its effect on McCloud, California; radiological hazards in American water supply…there are so many places to start.

Dr. King said, “Nothing in the world is more dangerous than a sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”

Clean water is a right and not a privilege.

P.S. Don't do lunch with Oloni ;)
