Fan Review: Lupe Fiasco - Live in Stockton, CA

Ben W. attended Lupe's concert in Stockton, CA on March 20th, 2010 and sent us his review of the show, check it out below!

On Saturday night in Stockton, Lupe Fiasco delivered a masterful performance that was second to none. Fiasco came out with a energy filled performance of Shining Down, with his denim jacket, aviator frames, and leather gloves.

The whole night the crowd was under his control, at their feet the whole time. The energy was off the charts. Lupe was running around, jumping throughout his whole two hour performance and his 30 minute encore...

He was amazing from beginning to end from his first song Shining Down to his last Daydreamin'.

By far his best performance of the night was Hip-Hop Saved My Life where the crowd was jumping and singing along with him the whole time.

Lupe performed songs from his albums Food & Liquor, The Cool, Enemy of the State, and Lasers. His most memorable song from Lasers was a heartfelt, powerful rendition of Beautiful Lasers which he said he wrote when his life was," Really, Really, Really, Fucked up."

His performance ended with a wonderful rendition of Superstar that had the crowd roaring, he thanked the crowed for coming out and wished us a good night and exited.

Chants of "Lupe" followed him, within 30 seconds he ran back out with his band and sung Paris, Tokyo. After he finished he brought one lucky fan and a 8 year old boy with a VIP pass on to the stage. They helped Lupe to do a remarkable last performance of Daydreamin' to end the set.

He talked for a few minutes on stage then the house lights went on. Everyone was astounded by his performance from row A-ZZ, from the front row to the back of the balcony everyone left happy with big smiles on their faces.

No one in the packed Bob Hope Theater will ever forget March 20th, 2010 when Lupe Fiasco took Stockton by storm.
