Lupe just introduced the All City Chess Club to the world via his Twitter. A group consisting of Asher Roth, B.o.B, The Cool Kids, Charles Hamilton, Blu, Diggy, J. Cole, Wale and Lupe himself.
According to him they've been in the studio together yesterday. Could it be that all of them are going to appear on this remix or will it be a whole nother project? I guess we'll find out soon...

Yea, it seems like Atlantic is trying to punish Lupe for wanting more creative control or whatever the case may be. ReplyDeleteI am almost positive that lasers will get announced after the steppin lasers tour concludes... So in about another month or so, we'll find out the release date... And I feel it'll drop in late 3rd/ early 4th quarter of this year... Either way lasers will be an album hated early on cos of the differenxe in the sound and truly cherished in abt 5 years

And on an unrelated note: I don't understand why everyone keeps complaining about the release date, honestly. It doesn't matter what the post is about, that's what it always comes to. Yeah, waiting is killing me too, but I've been waiting for this album for 3 years and I can easily stand to wait just month or two for a release date. Y'all know it's close. Be thankful for that, at the very least. There's a whole world of music out there waiting to hold you over. Just acknowledge that Lupe has no control over that, and waste no more time stressing over what you think should happen.
