In this interview with WHBC Radio at Howard University J. Cole talks briefly about the All City Chess Club [at 5:42] - He basically says that he doesn't really know much about it except for the fact that it's Lupe's brainchild and that he was asked to be on the "I'm Beamin'" remix.

Can't wait for the Beaming remix. J. Cole is dope yo. Truth be told I'm kinda looking forward to his debut more than Lasers.. prolly cuz it's a debut, plus The Warm Up was straight fire. But Lu and Cole on one track should be dope. lol @ peeps instigating.. Cole didn't mean anything by the comment.
