Lupe once again performed "State Run Radio" during his show in Milwaukee on Friday...I love that song, it's probably my favorite of the new ones that I heard so far...together with "Scream."

(The parade in my eyes is the rap game he saying its in disarray its out of order because the lames like waka flocka get more radio play than a guy like Lupe. The rappers are the center of attention and fans all watch as they go by. The chains are Lupes lines. When you catch one of lupes lines its pretty amazing (like this im explaining now lol) but also in parades (mardi gras) when you catch an actual chain ppl get excited. and hangs from your brain is simply you remember it.)

(catch lupes lines like you catch something when somebody doesnt cover their mouth)

(tip meaning T.I.P. aka T.I. aka the king of the south. but T.I. is a skinny guy and if he were on a balancing scale? his side woulld be higher than alot of ppls because there is not alot of weight. so i assume this is Lupe saying he is above other rappers who would be lower on the other side of the scale.)
"forgot that i was fat i lost my way (weight)"
(another reference to being light and higher on a scale saying he lost weight.)
"back looking for the shade i sought, not Wonders (Stevie), Scott summers, so dont make me take off my stunners"
(Stevie is blind. and Scott summers is the charachter on X-men named Cyclops. When he takes off his shades it shoots a red beam everywhere and murders everything. So its best not to take off his shades)
LOVE THIS! you totally got the gist of the verse. Lupe is sick, once again, intelligent rhymes that go over people's heads, and they call it lame??? Fools dont get it.
