B.o.B's "Nothin' On You" x "Airplanes" were slated for Lupe Fiasco

In the above clip you can hear how Jim Jonsin talks about getting "Nothin' on You" for B.o.B, a record that was originally slated for Lupe.

Also click HERE to read an interview w/ Kinetics & One Love - - the team that wrote the "Airplanes" hook - - in which they reveal that the song was originally meant to be a Lupe Fiasco song.

  1. I never knew they did stuff like this, I mean I know tracks that artists scrap tend to end up on other albums slightly reorganized, but I didn't think they had this bidder thing going on with unfinished songs where people buy them and just tack their verses on.

  3. Omg Lupe and Hayley Williams on Airplanes would've been so dope and Lupe and Bruno Mars ughhhh I don't won't think about it. I am happy that B.o.B is getting some shine though he deserves it..... but Lupe on Airplanes......

  4. Personally, I don't think these songs would have worked with anyone else but B.o.B. Lupe is my favorite artist, but those songs don't really seem to be his style

  5. Glad he passed on them. I just can't see Lupe on either of these tracks, maybe Airplanes but not for the album

  6. I can see Lupe doing "Airplanes" but I think B.o.B was better suited for "Nothin' On You."
