I believe that "Anonymous Person #9" (right before SeanTheRobot posted Lupe's) verse correctly stated that the line where everyone thinks Lupe says "I prefer to figure a" is most likely "I prefer to figure 8" or "figure 8's" which would tie in nicely with his math references AND "tightrope" references. As opposed to walking in a straight line, he figure 8's (like an ice skater). What do you guys think?
um i google image search figure 8 <-- this is getting that serious for me lol and um its a type of knot like for rock climbing and stuff. being that he just climbed a mountian its probably that "tight rope" get it!! =] i dont get what comes after figure 8 either most likley more rock climbing lingo.

He's saying that "welcome to the meeting of the minds" he, B.o.B and Janelle are gonna defeat the "blind" (those that don't see the truth and/or are just whack), while "keeping it in line" they're gonna defeat them legally with lyrics not with like death, he'll "figure 8", I think that's meaning he'll skate around the issues...mandelbrots kinda look like 8? he'll do it til death "until the candles on the mantles stop" how people used keep their houses lit by candles, "every single channel watched" the revolution he's referring to will be televised on every single channel, "shouting from the chapeltops" once they're on top, then maybe people will listen, "medieval mathematics keep us average in amounting" people that don't come complex and correct in their rhymes (aka medieval/primitive) are keeping the those that do come correct, average instead of being super successful, "dropped outta that math class" he's done being in the same group as those guys, "tightrope's like a sidewalk" he's no longer walking a tightrope, he can walk plainly because his "tightrope" is the size (width wise) of a sidewalk.
