Well, first things first, Lupe is my favorite rapper (obviously). Like most die-hard Lupe fans, Kick, Push and his verse on Touch the Sky got me hooked. Dude was just so fresh! ha.

I remember the day that Food & Liquor came out, I was broke and couldn't buy the album, so I was forced to download it (ahhh Lupe would kill me lol). Anyways, the album was a classic. Hurt Me Soul is possibly my favorite Lu song ever. It's such a well put together album - great production and great lyrics. Plus, his songs aren't about bitches, hoes, and diamonds, but real life shit that everyone can relate to.

Oh yeah, I eventually went out and got a hard copy of F&L. Don't worry.

As for the The Cool.. It is my FAVORITE album to date. I can listen to Fighters over and over and never get sick of it (not to take anything away from the rest of the songs). "Man I really miss my Pops.." (from Fighters) echoes in my mind when I listen because I've lost my father as well. So like many other Lupe songs, I can relate!

And every time Superstar comes on I find myself rapping every word. I've probably played that album more than any album I've ever purchased.

I've seen Lupe twice in concert. Once during the Glow in the Dark tour at the United Center and another time at the Chicago Theatre. The second concert was the most lively concert I've ever attended and quite possibly the best. I can't wait until I can check another one of his live shows out again.

Lupe is the reason I created my Twitter account - so I could get updates from him and, of course, the LupENDBlog (which I check daily!). Now I use twitter to chat with other #lasers about Lupe and other artists.

I also created the LupeQuotes Twitter, which is in honor of the #LupeQuotes tag. I just thought it'd be fun to post Lupe's quotes for his fans. And it has attracted a lot of followers despite the fact that I haven't been updating too much. Unfortunately, Lupe isn't one of them though!

I know I'm probably not any more unique that any other Lupe fan, but shit! I had to at least try haha! I cannot wait for Lasers to drop. At this point I am just so overly anxious to get some new Lupe Fiasco in my life.
