Fro Adu is a Ghanaian soccer defender at George Mason University, conscious rapper known as Bless'd, brother of soccer star Freddy Adu, and a good friend of mine. I rolled with this crazy pair to the show (as well as a another friend of mine) and we had a blast...

As a Fan:

I asked Fro to tell me about the two times he's met Lupe Fiasco. His story is probably the FUNNIEST I have come across yet:

"My brother's soccer agent called the record company and got through the right channels, and he put freddy in contact wit lupe's manager, and they set it up. We got the free vip tix, plus the vip passes. Lupe murdered the stage, sick live performer. and yes I was all smiles and what not the first time i met him. Actually that was the second time I met him face to face, you wouldn't Believe how I met him the first time. My mom and I were at the Major League Soccer Allstar Game, and Lupe performed during the half time show. So back in our hotel room that nite, I was downstair on my computer in the lobby just chillin. I got up to go to sleep at midnight, and this dude was waiting next to me outside of the elevator. The lights were low so i couldn't tell who it was. So we stepped into the elevator, and we were both on opposite sides leanin against the wall. Then i looked up and I was like " Yo, you lupe fiasco.." and he was like "Yeah, wuttup man." Hahahah. So we chatted for a minute, he was like "Yeah, I love soccer," and I said "Yeah I'm Freddy Adu's brother, and he was like "Nice...word up." We stopped on his floor, and we took pics on ma phone, then I watched him go into his room. I felt like a freakin 6 year old eatin candy, hahaha. It was mad koo though."

As an Artist:

Bless'd is the name because his life is nothing but a blessing from his Father, God. Bless'd stands for (B)ringing to (L)ife (E)very (S)oul's (S)earch of a (D)ream.... He loves intellectual Hip Hop, and despises the majority of Commercial RAP...also known as CRAP, as he puts it. Why...? "Because it is an egotistical, self-indulging fiasco. Music inspires, and inspiration is far from present in CRAP. Men, women and teenagers constantly rapping about money, drugs, ice, killing people, sex and degrading themselves should imagine themselves on their deathbeds sayin "well, my life is about to end, I feel proud of all the money I made, all the loveless sex I enjoyed, and all the lives I ignored and killed by my deeds and words from my mouth. God is gonna love me.He is Bless'd aka Black Anderson, and he swallowed the Red Pill!
