Bootleg Kev caught up with Lupe yesterday and Lupe talked a bit about Lasers - said that "Shining Down" will be on the album - also talked about EOTS/Mixtapes, Gemstones, Guru/Gang Starr and he said there will be no CRS nor an ACCC album....
this has to be the worst lupe interview i eva seen. not only was it the worst lupe related information compiled into 1 video (shinin down, which is 1 yr old, is on lasers, possibly no FOTP, no CRS album) but also, that bootleg kev guy interrupted lupe mid sentence for each answer. smfh
Finally a interviewer that knows something about lupe... other than what is your next album called? any famous guest appearances? Jay-Z said you were a breathe of fresh air huh?

He crushed so many of my dreams in one interview. No CRS, no ACCC, no FOTP, no gemstones, no idea for release date (wth is hopefully by the end of the summer),and no new info on whos on the album. And im sure whose talking bout people like me who say its not coming soon enough. Hey at least all the leaks will be on the album hopefully that means What u want is one of them

I'm sorry to say it but Lupe has gotten too arrogant. He sees his fans as the little people now or something. When you criticize him he tries to say something like you are catching feels or some other bullshit. Instead of taking the humble route and giving us listeners some REAl info that we can use.
arrogant bastard it is called. He is more interested in chasing women,climbing mountains,driving around in fancy autos and having his photo taken next to some C list actresses instead of being on his grind. he isn't as starvin as he was years back. too bad. Diggy is coming up and he is.
Hey thanks for posting the interview, he wasn't even going to let me talk to him, and when he finally did it was EXTREMELY RUSHED. Not the best interview, but i did what i could considering the circumstances

I really cant believe all the hate coming from the 'anonymous' fans in this post... have we forgotten the Lu that was? And so what about the Lu now? I think he is handling the stardom and 'music business' shit pretty well IMO.
This interview got to the bottom of so many questions we have all been wondering for months now, all in 2mins. Do you anonymous' not realise this a spontaneous backstage interview? Well done bootleg kev you handled it well.
What do half of you expect regarding releases for CRS and ACCC? Theres that saying: "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". ALL the artists involved in both projects have a million things going on, and if the full outcome remains remixes or a single then lets live with it rather than hate on the lack there of.
In this interview, you can tell Lu is sick of being asked for release dates. His attitude to even answering questions involving release dates was 'no comment' which is a good move. You can't blame him for this, in hindsight he really should have been saying 'no comment' months ago but you cant blame him for hyping. I dont think even he knew it would be this long and unfortunately it has generated a lot of negative feeling. Live and learn from this, different approach next time.
here we go again with lupe making bullshit promises and not following thru with them lasers end of the summer lmao wth is that no crs album, accc they gon have this one song and then its gon fade out like CRS, no more mixtapes until the next album wth is that i jus wanna hear a abum from my favorite artist and i cant even get that smh
I honestly can't blame any of it on lupe. After all he doesn't control when the album comes out, although I do agree that he should have not said he would have a release date many times before. As for CRS you all got to admit you knew it wasn't gonna happen from the start since there way only what? two songs? As for accc I had no idea about any of that, or what it is. Lupe seems to be the same, except it looks like he has alot more confidence now. I myself have waited I think two years now for LASERS (before known as LUPEND, and then THE GREAT AMERICAN RAP ALBUM). I don't mind waiting a little longer I guess as long as its worth the wait.
