ReplyDeleteFalse ^ please know your facts before you say anything, Soulja boy went @ CH for an interview that CH did where the interviewer said that CH was the next SB and CH basically said NO, etc etc etc... Thats the only part of the interview that they played and SB saw it as a shot so he dissed him and CH simply responded... i mean he had to, he was a new artist and had soulja boy dissing him, thats a terrible look for you... Otherwise he isnt a beef artist, CH just loves making music, so when Rhymefest attacked him, CH was just like "can we stop with the bullshit and make music", so he ignored Fest and continued to make music, thats what ppl fail to realize...
ReplyDeleteAlthough Fest did go hard on that song, when you go back and re-listen to it, then you will realize all fest really does is call him gay and attacks him on how he dresses, which when you think about it, isn't really "murdering" him... Ether is murder, Hit Em Up was vicious, Nail in the Coffin was a headshot... the supersonic diss doesn't really fit in the same category as those songs above, and thats not a diss towards Fest, to this day I still believe that song was unnecessary
People are just caught up in the hype of "hating" charles, and I'm not saying youre hating, I'm just saying a lot of ppl dislike CH because they know someone else who dislike him... therefore creating an infinite loop because ppl are always afraid to come out and say they like [insert artist name] instead of someone that all their friends listen to... make sense?
I'm still waiting for a Nas x Lupe Fiasco collab... THAT would be a dream team-up.. lol

and yes i do agree that the diss to charles hamilton wasnt the best diss ive ever herd but i think if CH responded then rhymefest would come back even harder and make a diss song 10x better

Dont need to cuz I know Fest, I've heard the story straight from him, he just got mad cuz CH called him an old ass dude on several occasions, but that wasn't ever on a diss level, CH was just always playin with that, thats why I told Fest he shoulda just called CH and talked it out... speaking of which CH reached out to Fest last week, I havent heard anything about that yet but i know for fact he reached out to Fest last week.
ReplyDeleteCH has nothing to prove, no one came up with these standards that you have to respond to every diss, just make music and let the music speak for itself, and if you stopped being a CH fan after hearing the Fest diss, then you never deserved to be a CH fan in the first place, and that goes to any artist, if one small thing influences you to not like an artist anymore, then you simply never deserved to be called a fan.
Think of it this way, CH probably never knew that Fest didn't like being called old, therefore always did it... I mean I call my sister old and she's only 23, and I'm 20, its normal for younger ppl to call ppl old and you should only get offended if you are like 50 or something, but that's aside from the point
I understand why Fest got offended, but like I told him, if someone bothers you, confront them about it otherwise the problem wont ever leave you alone
Also you cant say Fest would have came back 10x harder, people said the same about Jay Z with The Takeover, no one expected an Ether from Nas... you're underestimating CH
Also a Beef is tension between two artists, but has to be from both sides, this so called "beef" was one sided, therefore wasn't a beef... it was more of a shot
